16.1hh 5yo mare... what a find this is!!!!!..
a real athlete and a sport type, she is too good a chance of breeding to miss, she can easily go into sport once she has foaled in 2020 or go breeding again.
a fantastic jumper with a pedigree to match..
Mr. Blue won many international prizes, including the Volvo World Cup in Berlin and Paris, the German Masters in Stuttgart, and Team Silver at the European Championships in Manheim in 1997 with bert romp.
her dam line is sensational, her dam is'ster' graded and her dam line is littered with celebrated mares and high level performers.
her own sibling is :
'skara glenns 7 pillars' (spartacus) as a 9yo in 2019 is jumping at 150 cm level with us based irish man Paul o'shea.
her dam siblings are also very impressive:
'apart' (querly bet hero) jumps 145cm classes with spaniard carmen garcia-torres
'djengo' (cristo) jumps 145cm classes with italian andrea benatti
'guadalupe' (zambesi) is currently at 145cm level as a 8yo with british rider nick benterman
'mendocino' (zambesi) jumped to 140cm level with brit megan james.
This is a very exciting mare, this is furthered by the quality of her pedigree.
for 2020 she is in foal to a super young sire 'poker de mariposa.'
POKER DE MARIPOSA (NABAB DE RÊVE X BERLIN x for pleasure)
Convincingly, Poker de Mariposa became the vice champion of the 3-year-old showjumping stallions at the BWP Stallion Show 2018. The son of top sire Nabab de Rêve showed off a lot of scope and quality on the fence and seems to have a good ride ability for such a young horse. Poker de Mariposas pedigree is to dream of. Sire Nabab de Rêve has been one of the best producers of showjumpers in the world for years and his sons Vigo d’Arsouilles and Kashmir van Schuttershof continue this successful line of sires. Grandsire Berlin won team gold at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in 2006 with Gerco Schröder and has become a foundation sire with offspring like Athena (Aniek Poels), Caspar (Emanuele Gaudiano) and Zilverstar T (Nicola Philippaerts). Great-grandsire For Pleasure is without a doubt one of the most influential showjumping stallions of the past decades.
The damline of Poker de Mariposa is exceptional: for years granddam Flora de Mariposa has been known as one of the best showjumpers in the world. Ridden by Pénélope Leprévost, the mare won a gold medal with the French team at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and won the five-star Grand Prix of Antwerp and the World Cup Qualifiers of Oslo and Lyon. Her daughter Ilena de Mariposa also performed at 1.45m level with Leprévost and recently the French rider Nicolas Delmotte took over the reins. Ilena de Mariposa is the dam of Poker de Mariposa, who is also closely related to former BWP champion Hermes de Mariposa. Ridden by both Henrik von Eckermann and Mohammed Al Hajri, Hermes de Mariposa competes at the highest level. Previously, Poker de Mariposas half-brother Nestor de Mariposa got already approved by the BWP and also the promising Matisse de Mariposa is closely related to this Nabab de Rêve-son.
With his excellent pedigree and very convincing showjumping qualities under the saddle, Poker de Mariposa seems to be a great asset for the breeding of showjumpers.
